It was replaced with a another Luna-Pro (used from Ebay). My first Gossen Luna-Pro worked flawlessly from 1970 until the late 1990s. Four of my six cameras are meter-less so the Gossen gets a work out. The meter is very accurate, easy to read and allows for a much wider range of usable light. The VAA allows me to spot meter at either 7.5º or 15º. I also use a Gossen Luna-Pro and the Gossen VAA (variable, angle attachment). Sekonic 元08B and also a Pentax Digital Spotmeter. Sekonic L-398A and a great calculator too for all of us who are math challenged. Having a built in spot meter would be nice as well. Sometimes I wish the dome was on the face of the meter rather than the top edge. I like the fact that it's fairly compact and quite accurate. I've had it for 8 years and it's still going strong. I use a Gossen digiflash, with a yashica D (or whatever camera), it's small, light, accurate quick and also measures flash, temperature and time if you have any need for those things and it was relatively cheap for a light meter. For those who use an external light meter, I'm curious to know which brand and model you are using.
